What exactly is a DVD podBLAST?
Only the greatest thing ever! That's the same reaction you, too, will have when listening to our alternative DVD commentary.
Sure, you could watch a DVD and listen to the insightful thoughts and humorous anecdotes of those involved with the film, or you could watch the DVD listening along as your pals from Adudathuda tear it a new one.
How does it work?
Well, some of us drink a lot beforehand, some were just born surly. But if you want to listen to a DVD podBLAST, follow these steps:
- Start the DVD.
- Pause it at 5 seconds.
- Start the BLAST. (it's an .mp3 file)
- Listen for the countdown to press "Play" on your DVD.
- Enjoy.
When DVD podBLAST is in season (starts in Jan.), we generally add a BLAST a week for 33 weeks. Yeah, we'll take a month off, but generally, there's a new one every week from Jan-Sept. To view our current choice selections, check out The 'BLASTs. We recommend you subscribe.
What technology is required?
- Whatever you have that downloads and plays MP3s.
- A DVD player.
- The DVD of the movie in question. It's okay, we rent ours, too. I mean, can you blame us? Seriously, Epic Movie? C'mon.
Of course, rumor has it some of our fans don't even watch the movie; they just listen to our sterling as-it-happens assesment.
Is it free?
